Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.wndr.travel (the "Site") and the travel curation, booking, and hosting services we provide (the "Services"). By using the Site or booking a trip with wndr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.
1. About wndr
wndr is a travel curation service based in Ghana that designs and operates Curated Experiences and Hosted Experiences in Ghana for travelers worldwide. We act as an organizer that coordinates third-party suppliers — including hotels, drivers, guides, restaurants, and activity hosts — on your behalf.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a booking. If you are booking on behalf of a group, you confirm that you have authority to bind every traveler in the group to these Terms and that each adult traveler accepts them.
3. Our Services
- Curated Experience — a self-paced trip with personalized planning, daily flow, recommended activities and restaurants, and transport coordination.
- Hosted Experience — everything in Curated, plus a dedicated local host on key days, real-time coordination, reservation support, and on-the-ground assistance.
Specific inclusions are confirmed in your trip proposal and final itinerary. Inclusions not listed are not part of your trip.
4. Bookings and payment
- A trip is confirmed only after we issue a written confirmation and you pay the deposit specified in your proposal.
- Unless stated otherwise, the deposit is 30% of the total trip price, and the balance is due 45 days before your arrival date.
- Bookings made within 45 days of arrival require full payment at the time of confirmation.
- Prices are quoted in US dollars unless agreed otherwise. Bank fees, currency conversion charges, and card surcharges are your responsibility.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time before payment is processed.
5. Travel documents and entry requirements
You are responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents for Ghana, including:
- A passport valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
- A Ghana visa or e-visa where required by your nationality.
- A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate, which is mandatory for entry into Ghana.
- Any other vaccinations or medications recommended by a qualified medical professional.
wndr can advise on these requirements but cannot guarantee any traveler's right of entry. We are not liable for losses arising from incomplete or invalid documentation.
6. Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain experiences. Insurance should cover medical care, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, trip interruption, and personal belongings. Travel without adequate insurance is at your own risk.
7. Changes to your trip
7.1 Changes by you
If you need to change your itinerary after confirmation, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate the change, but we cannot guarantee availability and additional costs may apply.
7.2 Changes by wndr
Travel in Ghana is dynamic. Weather, road conditions, supplier availability, and other factors sometimes require changes to the itinerary. Where possible, we will offer comparable alternatives. Minor changes do not entitle you to a refund. For material changes, we will discuss options with you.
8. Cancellations and refunds
All cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Health, safety, and conduct
- You must inform us of any medical condition, allergy, dietary requirement, or accessibility need that may affect your trip.
- You agree to follow reasonable instructions from your guide or host, especially regarding safety.
- You agree to behave respectfully toward local communities, partners, and other travelers.
- We reserve the right to remove a traveler from any activity or trip — without refund — if their conduct endangers themselves, others, or the trip itself, or violates local laws.
10. Third-party suppliers
Hotels, airlines, drivers, guides, restaurants, and activity providers are independent third parties. Their own terms, conditions, and limitations of liability apply alongside these Terms. wndr is not liable for the acts, omissions, defaults, or negligence of any third-party supplier, except to the extent required by law.
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, civil unrest, government actions, strikes, terrorism, war, supplier failures, or transport disruptions. Where such events affect your trip, we will work with you on rescheduling or applying available credits, subject to our Refund Policy.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability arising from or related to your trip is limited to the total amount you paid to wndr for that trip.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of enjoyment, missed connections, or lost profits.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless wndr, its team, and its partners from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our Services, or your violation of any law or third-party right during your trip.
14. Photography and content
We may photograph or record group experiences for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to appear in marketing material, please tell us in writing before your trip. Personal content you share with us — testimonials, photos, social tags — may be used in our marketing unless you tell us otherwise.
15. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, photographs, video, and software — is owned by wndr or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
16. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
17. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or our Services will be resolved exclusively by the courts of Ghana, unless local consumer law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith by direct negotiation for at least 30 days.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
